a native St. Louisan graduated from Clark/Atlanta University with a B.A. in Education. He has a M.A. in Communication from Webster University,St. Louis,Mo. Ron has over 25 years experience as an artist and educator. In addition to creating mixed- media collage/assemblage, he also creates murals,illustration, original artwork and computer graphics.

The photographs and objects selected for my compositions represent ideas and concepts that usually relate to some aspect of the African American experience. Because the history of black people in America is broad, my work is in series. Often times several compositions will revolve around a central theme. I use mixed-media collage/ assemblage to create a visual narrative. A social commentary on the conditions and experiences of African Americans as interpreted through my own visual reality .
